Four Wise Cattle

The Four Wise Cattle are friendly, lumbering giants who love nothing more than finding cozy nooks and crannies to rest in. The Cattle are a series of four inflatable sculptures destined for spontaneous installations.

How do they work? The Cattle were sewn together from hand-dyed ripstop nylon. The air-tight fabric allows us to inflate the sculptures from scrunched up fabric stuffed in a tote to towering titans. They require a constant stream of air to remain standing, which is supplied by a blower and battery.

Here and there. The Cattle have travelled all over the city and beyond, from impromptu gatherings in the park to fancy balls. They’re always met with excitement and enthusiasm. Who are they, why are they here? Hard to say, they just enjoy good company and a little shade.
